Graduate of North Carolina State University. After graduation, I became a sales and field marketing specialist at Oracle Corporation / Sun Microsystems, Inc. running extensive corporate marketing events that spanned the southeast.

Later, I started my own consulting Corporate Event Planning business, Market Advantage, and worked as a consultant to various technology companies.

I have been married since 1987 and have 3 wonderful adult children and a son-in-law.
